Once every six weeks or so we pay this man £11 to come and entertain Minstrel for 10-15 minutes. Minstrel follows the sounds of chamois and rubber against glass around the house and the guy goes about his task whilst pretending that the black shadow chasing the tools of his trade does not exist.

Earlier today Minstrel had been in my bad books for climbing up onto the shelf where the Sky box is, then walking and sitting on it whilst pressing every button. I lifted him down and was attacked in protest.

He has forgiven me now and is once again asleep on my lap, where he spends virtually every minute I am sat down.
