Reminiscing

Found on old Fodor's travel book on Israel dated back to 1979 the other day (must have got it from a junk shop or something), but it brought back memories of an amazing trip I took in 1999 when I was in my late twenties. Yoram was a visitor from Tel Aviv to the lab when I was a PhD student we became firm friends and he offered to show me round Israel - he was true to his word and we had an amazing week - I learnt so much about the country and history and saw so many amazing sights the memories have stayed with me forever - 3 major religions laying claim to the same holy sites in Jerusalem is mind-blowing and something that has always stayed with me - I would love to go back -
