Return of the Turkeys

...and the woodcocks. Went out the door this morning and heard the whistling of their wings as they flew over the marsh in the darkness. Checking back over my entries I see that last year I first heard the woodcocks on March 14, and the year before that on the 11th.

Came home to find about 20 turkeys rambling about the house, which wouldn't be so bad except they've gone to the bathroom all over the path leading from the front stairs to the driveway. Might need to take a flashlight out there with me to navigate a path to the car tomorrow morning.
