Spring is on the way ...

We went to the market today for the first time in a few weeks. It was much cheerier than last time, probably not unrelated to the fact that it was a delightfully warm and sunny day (even more delightful when you've spent a week in British rain). It was busy, there were a number of new stalls, and lots and lots of lovely spring vegetables. We didn't buy these radishes, but we bought some fresh and tiny broad beans, clearly just picked -- S served most of them with lunch, and we have just eaten the few that were left raw with a glass of wine. S then made inroads into a very runny Camembert from the cheese stall. 

Gym this evening -- we improvised even more than usual as Aline is away, so Pascale was teacher stand-in. It was hard work!
