A waterfall, a ruin and a Neolithic carving.
Today we walked to a hidden waterfall that I have never visited before, a ruined chapel and a neolithic carving. It took us quite a while to find the rock in the middle of a wood, but with the help of GPS, we got there eventually. There was an explanatory panel showing how to see the animals among the many scratches on the rock surface, but we found it nearly impossible to make them out. Apparently they are more easily distinguished in early morning and evening light. We meandered around the garrigue all the time with beautiful views of Canigou. In all we walked 11 kilometres with 500 metres of ascent.
