Shimmering Siskin

I was off to work at my very occasional job in the rain at 10am this morning and when I came out at 2pm the skies were blue and the sun was shining, lovely! I headed home and hoped to see lots of birds in the garden but there were very few, it was quite windy so perhaps that is why. This lovely little Siskin did however pop by, he seemed to almost be shimmer in the sunlight and match the silvery branches.
