New chair day

Overcast but mild. We needed to go into town so.first stopped at the park to walk Fletch. 
We took the route up the cenotaph steps . Fletch bouncing up , me not so much as I hurt my back lifting Fletch into the car yesterday ! (He is reluctant to jump up into the car ) 

Thr daffodils are still.looking good. A splash of colour in a grey day. 

Then we went into town to call at Dandys Furniture Store as M wants a new recliner. The spring went on his current chair. He has had it a.lot of years but the leather is still.looking good. However it is no longer comfortable and so we went to order  another. 
They have one model which is not grey or beige , which seems to be the most popular these days. We were able to order one in chestnut which will match the sofa and my armchair . The price was good too. 

We then stood chatting to the owners who are a lovely couple. Apart from trying to put the world to rights we shared a lot of westie  tales as up until recently they had a westie too. 
He came out to meet Fletch , who was fast asleep in the car.  

It's good to see we still have some excellent independent shops in town.
