The Satire of the Three Estates

On 24th August 1948 the Edinburgh International Festival put on the first modern production of David Lynsay's 1540 satirical play. Tyrone Guthrie directed and among the Assistant Stage Managers was my mother, in one of her first jobs in theatre. This is the cover of her copy of the prompt script.
