Tiny Tuesday - Ladybird

The M25 motorway in the pouring rain is not the slightest bit enjoyable. I was amazed this morning at the number of cars with no lights on at all in the heavy spray, which was in parts worse than a thick fog. Also vehicles travelling too fast for the conditions and/or driving with too little distance from the car in front. I got home exhausted and tense from two hours of it.

This tiny ladybird pin was a gift from me to Mum. She loved anything with a ladybird theme, and wore it often. Looking at things like this brings it home to me that, no matter how much “stuff” you accumulate in a lifetime, you can’t take any of it with you. There’s an important lesson to be learnt from that thought.
