Work Day

It was great weather to be outside today. Jerry cut up the dead tree and I cleaned up all the brush and briars along the fence line. Now Tate can mow there this summer. I also trimmed back the grapevines growing along the fence. There are grapes every year but they never get enough sunlight to get big and juicy. Hoping this fall I can harvest enough to make jelly.

Now we have a huge brush pile that we will burn Thursday or Friday. Tomorrow I want to go exploring!

I know we will sleep really well tonight! It is good to help our son get this big chore off his to do list.
