Inside a Kelpie!

While circumnavigating the Kelpies this morning, I noticed that one of the doors was open. Never having seen inside since they were being built, I couldn’t resist a quick nosey. There was a small team of workmen inside doing a structural check but they did permit a quick photo. Just shows what can happen when you spend childhood time playing with Meccano!
Today’s extra could be titled “A Tale of Two Toys”. The top toy is a rather attractive little model Guy lorry belonging to Master E while the bottom one is a mahoosive American type tractor unit which was parked at the Kelpies this morning. I would have loved to find out more but it drove off rather noisily before I could ask.
