Margaret’s Camellia

Margaret, next door, sold up and went into a retirement home some time ago. She was a keen gardener and I always loved when her camellia came into bloom as it is right next to our fence and I see it when I open the bedroom blinds in the morning.

The lady who moved into the house during the summer doesn’t seem to be much of a gardener, but I’m hoping that when she sees all the nice plants coming into bloom, she’ll be encouraged and with the help of her daughter will get the garden into a bit of order again.
