Today's action
Today's action took place at the Hahndorf Oval in an Australian Rules football game between Hahndorf and Lobethal.
Why you might ask.
If you absolutely have to do an action shot to complete an assignment, then really Aussie Rules ticks all the boxes, even given the slightly odd brief. e.g. has to be shot in "Portrait". Why Portrait? I don't know. Aussie Rules is such a 'landscape' kind of sport. Full of tackles and slips and slides, and well - action. Thank goodness there are no such restrictions in Blip.
Another reason for going to Hahndorf is that it's a great place to get lunch. They probably have more restaurants per head of population than any small country town in South Australia. And the serves are BIG. It's their German roots I expect. And the final reason is that the Rower's father used to play football for Hahndorf way, way back.
Grassy bits
It's been a good day. The Crows won. (If you're not Australian you won't have a clue what I'm talking about).
