The housekeeper's store cupboard

I had a nice afternoon on duty in one of my favourite rooms.  Just off the housekeeper's room is her store cupboard.  There.was only one key which she would hold and supervise staff who had been sent to fill up supplies in the upstairs rooms.   Expensive teas, sugar, coffee, and sago etc were contained in these huge metal boxes.

Considering it was such a foggy, cold day we still had a good number of visitors.
