at last

the Kiftsgate's out!

I've been waiting for ages and the first few buds opened today.

Most of the day was spent emailing for work but I did get out a dug up some of the copious quantity of weeds that have infiltrated the garden.

I'm a bit concerned there seem to be no quince fruit setting on the tree, but on a positive note the gooseberries seem to be doing very well!
