Punjabi Sikh

In my years of living in India, and some 15+ trips back subsequently, I always found the Sikhs/Punjabis to be hard working, industrious, entrepreneurial and friendly. This Punjabi Sikh is one of a substantial East Indian community in the lower mainland of British Columbia. They have a substantial presence in the business and agricultural communities. He was very excited to hear that I had visited Punjab; he gestured to the heavens. He explained that he had been injured in an industrial accident.

It was a tough choice between him and his compatriot fruit seller.
