Love the name - he allows the water from the upper catchment of Oamaru Creek to continue through a limestone cave. After the rain of the last couple of weeks it formed the lake to back up some two kilometres . Wonder of wonders it was such a nice day I pumped up the tyres of my bike and cycled there.
