Playa Del Carmen

Today we decided to have breakfast and go into Playa Del Carmen, it’s about a 15 min drive into the centre of the resort from our hotel, I thought we would have gone in more but our hotel is like its own resort it’s so big and somewhere new to go every day if you want to.

I visited Playa Del Carmen over 10 years ago and it has changed quite a bit, there is a shopping centre now with well known high street brands along with your usual holiday gift shops. We found a lovely traditional Mexican bar for lunch and a beer, then we continued shopping, it was getting very hot at this point so we did stop a few times for cold drinks.

When we arrived back we had a couple of hours of sun left so sat on the roof terrace and had a refreshing hot tub!
