A rose between two thorns...

After yesterday's lovely lie in, this morning's alarm call at 7.30am was a bit of a shock.  

D was off to play golf with Kenny, Adrian and Stephen.  Kenny is looking for a new golf club (actual club to join, not a stick to play with :-)) so they were trying out a second course local to him.  They  tried a different club last Monday but that was rejected. This one was fared better and K thinks me may have found his new club.  He's off to Spain tomorrow so he can ponder it while he plays in the Spanish sunshine.

Linda popped in at 10am to cut my hair.  Just a tidy up trim as want to keep the length as I will wear it up for Andrew and Nikki's wedding in July.

An afternoon of tidying up and crochet.  Twenty pink squares done (not all this afternoon!  :-) now to do twenty blue squares then decide if the blanket is big enough.  I suspect I will need some more.

Jordan and Alan headed off to Dundee to meet up with Alan's pal Andrew, then back here for a swimming session.  From the sound of laughter coming from the pool it was clear they were having a great time.  Andrew's here till Wednesday but no Malteser rocky road this time.  He knows I don't make it for every visit, but I do have other treats for him.  

First thing on the agenda after the swim was getting dates in the diary for his next visit.  Now he can relax and enjoy this visit!  :-))
