Wapley Hill

This afternoon we took the spaniel to Kington in Herefordshire to visit the new vet for the first time and to have his annual vaccinations. On the way back we stopped off at Wapley Hill and walked up through the dark woods to a superb, but little known, multi-walled Iron Age hillfort at the top. It was much more impressive than I was expecting with enormous defensive ditches.
