Amazing shop

I forgot to pack a facecloth so, whilst we were out and about in Funchal, we went into some shops we’ve never been into before to try to find one.  This shop was a real eye opener! It’s huge with stock on 3 floors.  We both thought it reminded us of Bombay Stores in Bradford with the variety of stock.  They didn’t have an actual facecloth (obviously not a ‘thing’ in Madeira) but I bought a very small hand towel which will do very nicely!
We had a very slow and relaxing morning before heading out into the town, two cruise ships in today, one is enormous (aidacosma) and the other looks tiny by comparison (Azura). A nice walk along the front to the old town where we had a chat to a very pleasant couple of ladies about potential booking a jeep safari later in the week, then lunch and more pottering, a visit to the colourful market,  coffee and pastel de nata and back up the hill. It’s been a bit cloudy so not very warm but we’ve eaten all meals al fresco!
And I’ve caught up with my blipping Hooray!
