At last!

My amaryllis has two stems, the taller one being about 60cm and the shorter just over 50. It looks as if both will burst into bloom at the same time.

The bulb was planted just before Christmas and must be the slowest growing amaryllis that I have ever had.

Another very dull day but not quite as cold as yesterday. My bit of a walk today was in the Silverburn shopping centre ..... tomorrow will be quite different ..... Tuesday is Holly walking day.
