Mother's Day

Miserable day - pouring down again.  OH was cooking lunch and I pottered.  JC arrived earlier than planned (raining = no cycling) and No.2 and H arrived shortly after.  No.1 was really apprehensive about showing JC her hair but she looked gorgeous and was happy to be able to fit into a denim jumpsuit that she wore before steroid weight gain (now losing it).  We had a lovely lunch but OH not eating as still felt a bit unwell.  We lit the fire, watched the football and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon.  Lovely flowers from both offspring.  Lunch conversation included chat about Shipping forecast (can't remember the context) and I remember when it used to be on R4 after the news - probably relegated to a minor channel now.  Happy memories and a lovely day.
