River Mole

We both had appointments at the audiology department at Epsom Hospital first thing this morning. We left home just after eight, thinking we had plenty of time to cover the seven miles before 9am, but we only just made it! The traffic was diabolical.
Later in the morning I was early for another appointment so I went down a side road to check on the level of the river Mole. It is not as high as it was, but still flowing fast. It is a dark, damp day today, so depressing, but after the busy morning I could have a quiet afternoon indoors.
