My week is out of sync. Didn't talk to Australian daughter on Skype Sunday morning, but this morning instead. So today feels like Sunday...

Daughter tells me on Saturday they discovered a venomous snake under their bed. So they phone the snake catcher. Sorry, said the snake catcher, we are all blind drunk, trashed. Maybe ring again on Tuesday....

Disbelief from daughter...
She gets a long pole, gets wriggly snake into a yellow contractor's bucket. Gets it down the creek where she released it...
