Lambs along the road

It was a beautiful, bright day. M was here with J for a short day, and after she left I persuaded J she would like more fresh air, with the lure of the quite young lambs we had seen from the car on Monday. It's only a short walk along the main valley road, which has a footpath at that point, and we had a good view of the sheep and lambs, who were conveniently close to the fence. This is my favourite photo: they always look so sweet when they sleep on their mother's back. J enjoyed her KitKat and I my little pot of dried fruit and nuts, and we walked back under fluffy pink clouds.
