Grumpy Tree Face

It’s another day,
another face in a tree!
Also made muffins.

Happy Mothers’ Day to all those celebrating. I am the proud recipient of some very lovely new socks and a candle. You can’t argue with Mothering Sunday!
Pretty ordinary day: cooking; walking; baking etc.
We did put a deposit down on a new (used) car though which was pretty exciting, it’ll be nice not to drive around the old rattly one, covered in dinks and dents!
I found a recipe online for blueberry muffins, I do have a recipe already but I needed one without caster sugar (I didn’t have as much as I thought!) so the online version suggested honey, milk, blueberries etc but the result is definitely not sweet! I feel like I’ve made little blueberry bread rolls :-D Could be worse.. but it is a little weird. I had to eat two, one after another whilst I pondered what they actually were and whether I liked them!!
