Timeless

A lovely evening in Clydebank tonight with others from QPCC at the Titan crane. We saw PS Waverley heading out on her evening cruise doon the watter, and so I decided to have a wee play with this shot, trying to make it look like an old postcard. I've taken several shots I'm happy with, even through the mesh on the crane - not conducive to large lens cameras at all. We tried to persuade the staff that there really should be larger holes, but were informed that they wanted them too, but weren't allowed because of health and safety and idiot kids who throw things out. Apparently on one occasion three teenagers were trying to chuck a bouncy ball off to see how it would bounce, and got in trouble from the staff. A parent defended the kids, and couldn't see why on earth there would be a problem with throwing a solid rubber ball from a crane 150 feet in the air... A lovely evening all in all. Now it is the weekend, happy me!
