Lakeside Orienteering

Orienteering today in Bawsey Country Park, near King's Lynn. The park has been established around disused sand quarries, so there are several lakes & the surrounding terrain is varied and steep - makes a change from flat East Anglian forests for orienteering, though it was suprisingly muddy for an area based on sand!! It was actually quite fun & I achieved my aim of getting around without messing up this time - a pity about the weather, as it's reverted to grey & wet again after teasing us with sunshine yesterday.
