Vasa Museum, Stockholm - Geometric

Was in the remarkable Vasa Museum today. The rescued boat is a spectacle, as is the interior of the building which houses it.

Lots of photos of the exquisit carving and construction of the boat, but they just don’t have the impact of standing in front of this colossal structure, which sank on its maiden voyage!!

So here is part of the interior of the building which you see as you turn away from the boat to go up to another observation level.
