Return To Hill of Tarvit.

A meeting of the Volunteers to be briefed on the forthcoming season which starts on Friday was held at the Mansionhouse today. The season is almost a month earlier this year.

Much of the pre planning had been carried out by email, however it was good to catch up with everyone’s news and to find out about the planned events and the improvements to the ‘offer’ for visitors.

This was illustrated when we entered the Great Hall and found the space set up for a whisky tasting event including food. This had been organised by an events company.

Events like these do help with the property’s budget. 

Pat and I had our own whisky tasting when we arrived home.

Today’s entry shows the red silver birches on the north side of the gravel drive to the entrance of the Mansionhouse.
