Carrot Cake

One thing I miss about my marriage is his baking. He couldn’t cook but he’s an amazing baker. His carrot cake was especially good.

The teenager came home with a big wedge of it today so I was happy! It tasted as good as I remember. Now I’m wondering why he’s suddenly being nice to me after all this time?
