Stars

Just a few miles up the road and we’re now in Tekapo: Lake Tekapo, another beautiful turquoise glacial lake. This place is all about the dark skies. 

At 11pm we joined a small group with Silver Rivers Stargazing and they drive us up to a hill where we lay back on beanbags as Gemma explained features of the night sky. It was magical.
