Rhodes - Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights

The Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes, also known as the Kastello, is a medieval castle in the city of Rhodes, on the island of Rhodes in Greece. It is one of the few examples of Gothic architecture in Greece. It was built in the 7th century (citadel), 14th century (palace): 1937-1940 (restoration works). 


The spectacular tower reminds me of the Disney movie of the magically long blonde hair Rapunzel who yearns to leave her secluded tower.
