Lights across the valley

It rained all morning, so I stayed in and did some jobs. I tried to fix an aerial lead in the afternoon but did not have the correct end fitting. I tried to adapt something else and spent a long time getting nowhere. I gave up in frustration and went to the bell practice. The time had been rearranged to allow us to join with friends to watch the England versus Ireland rugby match with friends. It was a great game and we enjoyed a simple meal of chilli con carne and apple crumble. As we left to go home, the village across the valley was nicely lit up.
