International Women's Day

A little boy in my class came in bearing four bunches of tulips for each of the adults in our class, for IWD! How thoughtful! We thanked his mum and she said "it's what we do'. They're from Romania, and it was just a lovely gesture. 

We had all the mum's in for 'Mother's Day' this afternoon, and they loved it! The weather was beautiful, blue sky and sunny, albeit windy and cold. The children were beaming having their mums there, and the mums were all very enthusiastic, even when it came to a dance along at the end.
