Rainy day in Seville
It’s my birthday today and I am very fortunate to be in Seville for the weekend, albeit a wet Seville, much more like home than I had anticipated!
We arrived in torrential rain last night and got drenched getting to our hotel. A 2 hour guided walk this morning was mainly under umberellas and it rained most of the afternoon too.
Very luckily the rain stopped while we were above the city on the wonderful structure of Setas de Sevilla which gives a 360 degree view of the city. Opened in 2011 it is the largest wooden structure in the world and I absolutely love it. So difficult choosing a blip to show it well so here are a few of the many shots I took.
