Druid’s Temple

We had a drive to the Druid’s Temple near Masham, for a lovely lunch in the cafe and a wander to the Druid’s Temple. The temple was built in the early 1800s by a wealthy landowner as a means to pay local unemployed workers. It was an atmospheric day to visit, misty among the beautiful surrounding forest - I’ve added some extras.
