Umm Suqeim
(9/3/24)
And it is Thursday and a WFH day again. :)
G finally had her follow-up appointment with the General Surgeon whom she saw a few weeks ago. She had done all the extra tests except for the breast ultrasound, which she did at the clinic before seeing the doctor. I was so impressed that she messaged G to remind her of the appointment.
It was unnerving when G came back saying that the doctor wanted her to see a surgical oncologist ASAP. Yikes! The doctor gave her a reference. All G needed to do was make an appointment. She managed to get one for tomorrow!
I didn't want G to be on her own, so drove her to school for the only lesson she had to deliver. I realised it was the first time this academic year. Gosh. It was nice to be in the area again.
Whilst there, I suggested we do a reccy to where we need to be for the Planetshakers concert on 29th February. We found it easily. Then we battled the traffic to get back home via Spinneys. I had a few hours to make up for work in the evening.
My blip is of the junction to Umm Suqeim Street. It's great to see apartments being built in Jumeirah. It's been a low-rise villa area for the longest time.
