On the way to Ullapool

A beautiful day so we headed to Ullapool for a day out.
We stopped at a few places on the way to take in the views. Stunning blue skies and snow covered mountain tops.
We had breakfast near Garve so that kept us going until lunchtime.
We had a walk across the dam at Och Droma. Always a favourite stop. Every year there seems to be less Scots pine standing but luckily this little group were still standing.
Ullapool looks really good with the improvement along the front. A job well done and it was nice to see people enjoying their fish and chips on the benches.
Sadly the toilets had been vandalised so were closed. So we decided to go to the Ceilidh Place for some tasty broccoli and cheese soup.
A drive further North where we stopped for a cup of tea from the flash before heading home :)
