A sunny place to play

Rory is enjoying a gentle play on the mini cat tree, I think he is telling me to leave him alone. Extra shows Tiggy who loves to find a sunny place to relax, she is very good at this and sat on the corner of the settee. She also loves a window cill, we have many to choose from. When revamping the bungalow all those years ago it was felt we must have cills wherever possible for our cats. They are well used.

Behind Tiggy is the book I am reading. Nella Last’s warpp is a second WW 2 diary, one of 500 taken from the Mass Observation-archive. I can remember watching Victoria Wood playing Nella in a TV drama Housewife 49 some years ago although didn’t read the book. A very good read, Sciatica is getting the better of me in recent days allowing time to sit and read.
