Not as good as last week?

Today was Friday but no BP as I had an appointment for my nails and eyebrows.  Home for a couple of slices of toast and a bit of scrolling and OH appeared at the back door?  It was a glorious day and sun was shining so the course was not waterlogged?  Unfortunately he had been hit by a golf ball on his ankle which had swollen up.  Cue sympathy and him sitting on the sofa with ice pack on his ankle.

No.1 had a long awaited hair appointment so we left him with a sandwich, ipad and remote control and headed over to see F.  She was our hairdresser a long time ago and is a lovely lady.  No.1 was not really sure whether she wanted to go for a total re-style/buzz cut but decided to just have the ends trimmed and wait for the new growth to grow a bit more.   F also put a few colours through the top but was cautious about colour treatment on new/and or damaged hair.  Such a sh*t roll of the dice, as No.1 had the most beautiful long blonde hair which I will hope and trust and pray will soon come back again.

Home for snooze (I did some more sewing) then a visit to the local for Friday night fish and chips (No.1 and I shared a plate).  It was not as good as last week and the peas weren't cooked - some you win?
