Painting lesson

I had a watercolour painting tutorial today. I’ve hired an art teacher to assist me with getting some advanced watercolour techniques.
It was 40C in Adelaide today, and so the strategies were about keeping cool and not letting the paint washes dry out and. I was happily challenged, with much to think about and do in the next little while.

I was just about to post this when the power went down. Turns out a vehicle collision at an intersection a few blocks away was the cause. I thought it might have been the strange little mini rain/storm cell that went through a bit earlier, leaving everything still just as hot, but now really humid.
