Spider Spinerettes actually Spinning!

If you have never seen spinerettes before, in action, please look large! This early morning spider on the "butterfly field" was very busy spinning his web upside down - I had never seen this happening before! Then, when he/she turned over, I gasped at the beautiful, white, leaf-shaped markings on his/her back. Please can anyone help with identification?

Crocus Man (Tonyg) broke his journey and had lunch with us on the way to the higher Alps. We spent a lovely hour successfully combing the fields for orchids and finding several posing butterflies too. Then, Hey Presto, my spider was hanging around in much the same place as this morning. I guess that is what spiders do, just hang out waiting for something to happen!
