Time off

We returned to Craignure for Nick’s follow-up visit to the hospital and the doctor was reasonably pleased with the progress of the injured finger, but we have to come back again on Monday just to be sure that all is well. Apparently, there is some particularly nasty infection that can develop from a cut down to the bone but fortunately Nick has dodged that one. Bertie and I enjoyed another walk while the impatient patient was being attended to. I was very thankful that I had brought two jackets because, although the day was dry, the wind was very chilly indeed. Afterwards we treated ourselves to a coffee at the Isle of Mull Hotel where we drank in this lovely view. It’s a shame that the weather wasn't suitable for sitting out on the balcony.
