Eggcellent

The new chicks are doing very well! The large hens are laying some very large eggs, and the bantams are laying lots of little eggs. These are each equivalent to half a big egg, and I used a lot for the market quiches. They have lovely yellow yolks! I’m very pleased with them, and they haven’t squabbled at all with the old girls which is remarkable!
