B-I-N The D.I.Y. & Grow A Beard Instead, Rye
I'm still finding mornings really bad at the moment and just want to stay in bed all day but forced myself to get up and go for a run with my brother in the glorious early morning sunshine. It was pretty cold and the air was sharp but the run was all the better for it.
As it was such a beautiful day we decided to head to Rye in East Sussex. When we got there we stopped off at the Ground Up Coffee Shop. It was stylishly set out and we were given a lovely warm welcome by the owner. We decided to partake of a cappuccino each and I must say it was the best coffee we've both tasted in a long time and it was also perfectly hot (unlike at other establishments we have tried recently). We then had a bit of a walk round the cobbled streets before settling for lunch at the Standard Inn. We had two great starters and a portion of fries washed down with a pint each. After that we had another walk and that's when I took today's images of two, very different, window displays. The extra, "Too Much Fishy Business", was taken on one of the quite steep cobbled streets off the main drag. A good day despite a rather bad start.
