ACHOOOO

Well I'm back home and have brought the gift of a horrible cold!!!!  Didn't get much sleep last night due to sore throat and sneezes.  Sadly I think this is due to that overheated Bassenthwaite Lakes train on Monday and then beautiful but cold weather.

Aah well at least it waited until my holiday was over.   It has come on very quickly though and am now at the stuffy head and tickly cough stage, weird how quick it's come, home it goes just as quickly as I would like to go out with my Mum on Mother's Day - but time will tell.

Due to the cold we abandoned the idea of coming home via St Bees and just came home through The Lakes. 

Now indoors and catching up with some of the holiday photos, slowly as I'm so very tired, so I confess I will probably fall asleep this afternoon.

It has been a wonderful few days and feels very much like we've been away much longer.  It was so wonderful meeting fellow blippers and explore an area I have only briefly visited before and found I loved it.  It is a very different side to Cumbria and some of if much less commercialised and wonderful for that reason.
