Muddy walk

Braved the lake for a walk.  It was very muddy but passable with boots.  There was a small flock of birds flitting around the trees. They were back lit but I wonder if they were siskin. They were very active.  
My first aid casualty from yesterday left a lovely comment thanking us for looking after him.  I'm just glad he was up and able to study today.  
Last day in the office for a week.  Borrowed maps for our trip away next week and watered my plants.  Working from home tomorrow.  
My niece loves the baby blanket and the elephant- they arrived safely today.  Now we just need to wait for the baby's arrival.
