Late afternoon.
In Stirling, dropping my wife’s car in for service.
Grey, low light and cold.
We’d a short walk across the Battle of Bannockburn monument site; 1314, King Robert the Bruce, victory over the English.
The flagpole is well tethered, it’s near where Bruce raised his standard.
